Small-batch roastery & coffee shop

Coffee good enough to keep in the house.

We roast in small batches, pull it properly, and hand it over without the ceremony. Sit in for the morning, or take a bag home for the kitchen shelf.

Morning shift, mid-service.

Household started with one drum roaster and a simple idea: the coffee people drink every day should be the coffee that's actually good. Not saved for the weekend. Not explained at length. Just properly sourced, freshly roasted, and made the same careful way at 7am on a Tuesday as it is at 11 on a Saturday.

We buy in small lots from importers we know, roast twice a week, and bag it the day it comes off the drum. If a bean isn't right we don't sell it — which is why the board changes a few times a year.

01

Small-batch roasting

Twice a week on a drum roaster, profiled by taste rather than theory. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you.

02

Proper espresso

Dialled in every morning and re-checked through the day. Milk steamed to drink, not to photograph.

03

Bags for home

250g of whatever's on, whole bean or ground for your kit. Ask and we'll set your grinder for you.

What we're about

Fresh roasted. Carefully sourced. Quietly very good.

Last coffee goes out fifteen minutes before close, and the kitchen shelf of beans stays open until the door does.

We're a small independent in the UK. Wholesale, events and office beans — same address, just say what you need.

Full address and map going up shortly. Email us and we'll point you at the door.
